1 stick of butter(plus more for pan)
2 cups of sugar
2 cups of all purpose flour(plus more for pan)
2 tea spoons of baking soda
2tea spoons of ground cinnamon
1 tea spoon of salt
1 and a half cups of vagatable oil
4 eggs
3 cups of grated carrots
16 ounces of cream cheese
1 tea spoon of vanilla extract
Equipment-
3 9inch round cake pans
Parchment paper
A hand mixer
Step 1-
Line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper, butter the it and dust it with flour. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Step 2-
Use your hand mixer to combine sugar, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt
Step 3-
Mix in the vegetable oil and eggs until blended, then add the carrots.
Step 4-
Pour the batter onto the pan and bake for 40 minutes.
Step 5-
Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before frosting.
